PDF Editor and Scanner ("the app," "we," "us") is a PDF editing and scanning utility available on the App Store and Google Play. This policy explains what data each version of the app touches, what never leaves your device, and how to reach the responsible developer for each store.
PDF Editor and Scanner is published under two separate developer accounts, one per store. Both are listed below as required by App Store and Google Play policy.
PDF Editor and Scanner's core features — scanning, editing, signing, merging, compressing, and converting PDFs — run entirely as on-device processing. We do not upload your documents, images, or signatures to any server, and we do not require an account to use the app.
Limited technical data is collected only through the third-party services listed below (crash logs, aggregate usage, and advertising identifiers where applicable), never the content of your files.
You can revoke any permission at any time from your device's Settings without uninstalling the app; the relevant feature simply becomes unavailable until access is restored.
We use a small set of third-party services to keep the app stable, understand aggregate usage, and — where applicable — show ads or manage subscriptions:
Each of these providers operates under its own privacy policy and may process device identifiers or diagnostic data as described there. None of them receive your documents, signatures, or scanned images.
Because file content never leaves your device, retention of that content is entirely under your control — deleting the app or its data removes it. Aggregate analytics and crash data collected by the third parties above are retained according to each provider's own policy, typically in de-identified or aggregated form.
Depending on your region, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any account-level data held by us or by the third-party services above, and to opt out of analytics or ad personalization from your device's privacy settings. Contact the relevant developer below for any request tied to file content — since we don't hold it, most requests are resolved by pointing you to on-device controls.
PDF Editor and Scanner is suitable for a general audience, but is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children beyond the on-device, non-transmitted processing described above.
We may update this policy as the app evolves across platforms. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
