These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PDF Editor and Scanner on iOS and Android. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
The iOS version of PDF Editor and Scanner is published by Shakeel Raziq. The Android version is published by Star Services. References to "we," "us," or "the developer" below refer to whichever entity published the version of the app you installed.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use PDF Editor and Scanner on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the applicable App Store or Google Play terms of use.
PDF Editor and Scanner is free to download with a free tier of core editing features. Premium features are available through auto-renewing subscriptions (monthly or annual), billed through the App Store or Google Play. Where offered, a free trial converts to a paid subscription automatically unless cancelled before the trial ends. All billing, refunds, and cancellations are handled by Apple's or Google's respective payment systems — we don't process payments directly and can't issue refunds ourselves.
Every feature that requires a paid subscription is marked with a lock icon before you begin the task that leads to it, so you always know upfront whether a feature is free or paid.
All PDF documents, scanned images, signatures, and edits you create or modify in the app are processed and stored entirely on your device. We do not access, transmit, or store the content of your files on our servers. You retain full ownership of all content you create or import into the app.
If you choose to import files from cloud services (Google Drive, iCloud, Dropbox), the import is handled directly between your device and the cloud provider — we do not act as an intermediary or store copies of those files.
You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, resell, or misuse the app; not to use it to process content you don't have the right to possess; and not to attempt to bypass subscription or licensing mechanisms.
PDF Editor and Scanner is provided "as is." We make reasonable efforts to ensure scanning, editing and compression work accurately, but automated processing isn't perfect. You are responsible for reviewing your documents before sharing or submitting them. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including loss of documents or data, except where such loss results from a confirmed failure of the app's autosave mechanism.
We may suspend or discontinue the app or specific features at any time. You may stop using the app and cancel any subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Your documents remain on your device until you delete them.
We may update these Terms as the app evolves. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
